Welcome to Painted Garden Studio’s website. My name is Tammy Tomaszewski and the Painted Garden Studio is my creative home away from home. On my website you will be able to purchase my custom note cards as well as view my decorative painting and pen and ink w/oil rouging classes/seminars that I will be offering here at the studio.
I have been painting and taking classes from as many teachers as financially possible since 1996. In the fall of 2002, the Painted Garden Studio opened its door for business and I started teaching one morning a week and on Sunday afternoons. I now have classes every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday mornings and on Saturdays/Sundays. The girls that started with me way back then are still taking classes from me and I’m very proud of their accomplishments.
In June of 2005, I took the Mary Owens Certification Program for Pen and Ink w/oil rouging. Pen and Ink w/ oil rouging is a very different technique from the decorative painting that is done with acrylic paints. This technique is very easy to do and requires no experience. I would love to have you take a class with me so that I can walk you through all the stages of your design. You will finish your day with a completed painting. It is a nice way to decorate your home or give a homemade gift from the heart. I supply all that is needed for you in the class room, but you may need to bring a lunch for the all day classes.
